We had daddy's favorite, MEATLOAF, on his birthday. One of my least favorite things about meatloaf is mixing the ingredients with my hands. This time I had the idea to put all the ingredients into a freezer bag and then just squish the bag around in my hands. It worked great and I was even able to form a perfect little loaf without ever touching the meat. I think I will start pre-mixing all the ingredients together and freeze for future use. Michael enjoys helping me cook. He can make toast and he likes to help with salads. Michael brought me a crayon while I was doing laundry. So I set him up at the dining room table with some paper and the rest of his crayons. A few minutes later he came down the hall, holding his pad of paper like a tray while saying MoOooOOOmmMMmeeeeEEE. I asked him what it was a picture of and he said Papa. It kinda looks like him! :-) Michael has named his monkey BUNKEE. He has dressed, diapered, rocked, and fed him. He walks around dragging that monkey behind him all day. Papa's 80th Birtdhay We celebrated my Papa's 80th birthday on Sunday. I loved seeing everyone! Church was awesome. Food was good! Great day! The Day We Almost Messed Up We slacked on the pics one day and only had one blurry pic of Michael. So I snuck in his room before midnight to get one more shot! The weather was amazing on Tuesday so we tried to get all of our outside time in that morning. The rest of the week was unbearably hot. I set a reminder on my phone to water the veggies and flowers twice a day. Hope we don't lose anything. I FINALLY got a pepper plant to take but it is still pretty fragile. I am starting two more seeds inside to hopefully transplant in a few weeks. Kira can now sit up for almost a full minute at at time without any assistance! She also had her first official solid food poop! WHEW! NASTY Kira learned how to make this noise...
