Michael had a blast on Easter. While we waited for Meven to get home from a gig, we colored eggs, painted pictures, and played outside. Michael thought the egg coloring was the greatest thing ever. Once all our eggs were colored, we used the remaining food coloring / KoolAid to paint a picture. Once Michael realized that the green on his hands would not come off he got a little freaked out. HA HA! When Meven got home, we hid six eggs in the yard for Michael to find. He was really good at looking and he was very excited that he got to eat the eggs. :-) We opened his Easter Basket and explained to Michael that Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus. Michael got his first Bible (which was passed down from E) and a few other fun spring toys. Kira's Easter was pretty relaxed. She didn't help with the eggs or have an Easter egg hunt. The rest of the week was pretty uneventful. More outside time, more playing, more life.
